Sesame Street Party Activities and Packages
Our Sesame Street themed characters are super unique! They are professional puppets manipulated by a puppeteer who can voice-match the character. Kids love that the puppet monsters are able to talk to them, and not only that, but the puppets are child-size (about 2-3 feet tall, like the real character) which make them MUCH less intimidating to small children than a large mascot.
Our puppets and puppeteers are always accompanied by a party host who will help run the music, lead activities, organize children, protect the puppet from damage, and make sure your party runs smoothly. The Party host can even stay for extra time after the Monsters leaves to do some simple face painting and/or balloon twisting.
One Hour Party: Interactive fun!
The Red and Blue Furry Monsters will greet the children at your party, and then will sit down with them to perform a live "episode" that is all about birthdays. They will talk, joke, count with the kids, sing with the kids, talk about everyone's favorite birthday activities, ask the kids questions, and make the children a part of the show.
Then, the party host will bring out some dancing props (Ribbons, Bells, Scarves) and dance to fun songs like "The Sesame Street Theme Song," "Elmo's Got the Moves," "Freeze Dance," and more!
The Monsters and Party Host will then play some games with the kids, as time allows. Examples may include "Elmo Says," "Hot Potato with Cookie Monster," "Hide and Seek with Cookie Monster," and "Where's Elmo?"--a guessing game.
They will then pose for pictures with the kids, give hugs, and sing happy birthday to the guest of honor.
Extended Party: Face Painting and Balloon Twisting
After the Monsters say goodbye, the Party Host can stay for additional time to do some simple face painting and balloon twisting with the children.
Examples of simple cheek and hand painting include: Butterflies, flowers, snakes, spiders, snowflakes, hearts, etc. Some performers can do Sesame Street-specific designs. Please inquire if this is something that you are interested in.
Examples of our Balloon Twisting include single-balloon creations like: Dogs, flowers, cats, dinosaurs, swords, and butterflies.
We keep our face painting and balloon twisting on the simpler side to accommodate more children in a shorter amount of time. All activities are performed as time allows.
Every performer is different, but here are some estimations of approximately how long we might recommend booking, based on the number of children you are expecting:
10 or less children: 30 minutes for face painting OR balloon twisting, 1 hour for both face painting AND balloon twisting
15-20 children: One hour for face painting OR balloon twisting, 90 minutes for both face painting AND balloon twisting
25+ children: Two hours. The performer will start with your top priority activity (face painting or balloon twisting) and aim to do both activities if possible, which will depend on how many children are actually present and interested in participating.
**If the performer is available to stay longer than the amount of time you have booked them for, you may be able to extend them for additional time on the day of the party as needed.

I hired the Elmo performer for my daughter's Sesame Street themed 1st birthday and she absolutely loved it. I was afraid that the puppet would not look professional but I WAS WRONG. The Red Furry Monster is AWESOME and top quality. My second concern was about the puppeteer's mouth moving when speaking for Elmo because he is not a ventriloquist but the kids and guests were so intrigued with the show that it did not affect the enjoyment or the show. Elmo and the Party Assistant were very professional, on time, and did everything in their power to engage the children. They were able to perform all the requested songs and stayed in character the ENTIRE time. They also customized the letter of the day to N and the number to 1 to represent my little tot's name and age-- what more can you ask for!
